6. Namale Resort & Spa.
“First and foremost is our staff, which is really a two tiered reason that they truly make Namale what it is today. They provide guests with the most welcoming environment and immediately make them feel like they are a part of the family. It is by far the biggest thing that we hear comments on from guests and travel agents alike. Our staff is a ratio of 3:1 so each guest is taken care of to the fullest extent, most the time having their needs met before they even realize that they need anything. Our staff knows the guests names, gets to know them personally and are truly sad to see guests leave and our guests feel the same. There are often tears at departures.”
“The second tier of our staff is the cultural competent. Each night at Namale we have cultural entertainment which many times includes our staff members or their families who come to the property to immerse our guests in the Fijian culture. We always incorporate an educational component and then have fun with entertainment; whether that be dancing, the local village choir, the local children’s dance group, meke, kava night and even and Indio-Fijian night with henna tattoos.”
“The second thing that makes our resort special is that we are incredibly eco-friendly, sourcing almost all of our products from our island and from our villages. This goes for building structures at Namale, our furniture, spa products etc. We even have a farm and greenhouse at Namale where we grow our own fruits, vegetables and herbs which we use for the majority of our cooking. Our coconuts make up the base of most of our sauces, are used in our desserts and our cocktails and mocktails all incorporate fresh fruits.”
“Our fish is caught locally by the members in our village and guests can even see them fishing for that night’s catch!”
It’s this unique combination of serenity and excitement, privacy and exclusivity that draws people from all over the world. Some of the world’s most influential executives and celebrities have found their bliss at Namale, including fashion icon Donna Karan, NBA coach, Pat Riley, actors Russell Crowe, Edward Norton, Meg Ryan and Mike Myers, and musician and producer Quincy Jones — just to name a few.
Spend a single moment here in Namale and you will be convinced that the words “paradise found” were first spoken with our secluded beaches and authentic luxury in mind. Here at Fiji’s #1 all-inclusive resort and spa, you can disappear into total relaxation inside your gorgeously appointed villa or bure, unwind at our award-winning spa, or share a blissful private dinner wherever you desire.

When the Blue Lagoon movie producers were looking for the perfect spot to shoot their movie, they approached the owner to ask to use the island to shoot their film starring Christopher Atkin and Brooke Shields.
The enjoyment and the experience that the film crew had on the island convinced Richard and his family to build 14 accommodations on the island and open it to the public so that the entire world to be able to experience this unique place. To this day, it is home to just 14 couples at a time, there are 14 private beaches, each guest gets their own dedicated “Bure Mama” or personal concierge, and it is truly paradise found.
