The Andaz Hotel is the first of the Hyatt’s Andaz brands. Andaz, which means “personal style” in Hindi, is a destination for the most fashionable world travelers. Originally called the Great Eastern Hotel, the recently renovated hotel is located in a redbrick Victorian building that dates back to 1884.
The hotel has 5 restaurants and bars located within the hotel. For traditional British dining, have a feast at 1901 restaurant. Miyako, Catch, Eastway and George offer various cuisines to suit any of your tastes.
One of the highlights of the hotel is the stunning Masonic temple which was discovered over the past couple of years. The room boasts a stunning golden gilt star on the ceiling, checkered floors and an elaborate interiors. Patrons may remember the space from aLady Gaga photoshoot by Markus Klinko & Indrani.
