Jimmy’z is legendary in the South of France and a favorite among celebrities who think nothing of flying in for a night in this extraordinary club. Situated half inside and half outside in a serene Japanese garden, the club also boasts a special VIP area called the Boom Boom Room which overlooks the dance floor. As you might expect, prices here do not come cheap: the most inexpensive bottle of champagne will set you back €350.
The Living Room, 7 Avenue des Spélugues
Extremely popular with local Monegasques, be prepared to put on your best glad rags to get in. The club is a bizarre mix of piano bar/disco which strangely works in this central location with a terrace overlooking the Jardin du Casino.
The Rascasse, 1 Quai Antoine 1er, 98000 Monaco
If you fancy a drink listening to live music, then we suggest you head to The Rascasse on the port, literally next door to the Monaco Yacht Show. The bar attracts great local bands who play most evenings in the summer, with no exceptions being made during the yacht show. The bar closes at 4:45 a.m. most mornings.
The Crystal Bar, Square Beaumarchais, Avenue Princesse Alice, 98000 Monaco
A short walk from the port is the beautiful Hotel Hermitage. Its very own Crystal Bar with heated terrace that overlook the port is perfect place to enjoy a glass of vintage champagne after a long day.
The Buddha Bar, Place du Casino
This great hangout is situated in a former concert hall just off the Place du Casino. At the Buddha Bar, you will find a very sensual mix of Asian/Parisian décor which creates the perfect setting in which to sit back and relax after the hectic nature of the Monaco Yacht Show. Located in a former concert hall from the early 20th century, this venue successfully combines a historic architectural heritage with a decor inspired by the Orient. Restored and regilded with pilasters and cornices beneath a 7-metre high ceiling, the Buddha Bar has a majestic feel to it. Yet under the gaze of the traditional giant Buddha, specially made in Asia, this subtle combination provides a setting of incomparable charm.
