DESTINATION LUXURY INFLUENCER – JOSH LEV’S, AUTHOR & SOCIAL MEDIA GURU.

We’ve asked a number of our influencers what luxury means to them. We’ve received responses ranging from traveling with loved ones to having financial independence to providing for family. Spending time with family and friends is the universal answer we’ve ultimately received. With Father’s Day just passing by, I interviewed Josh Levs, fatherhood activist and author of All In: How Our Work-First Culture Fails Dads, Families and Businesses -- And How We Can Fix It Together. We talked about what it means for parents to share responsibility in the household. If spending time with loved ones is many people’s ultimate form of luxury, we want to understand what it means to create a work-life balance to achieve this goal.

Thematically, the entrepreneurial buzz has been swiping the world's feet. With new technologies constantly emerging, we wondered why this was the case and what luxuries does the entrepreneurial path contain. There's a difference in the definition of luxury for different people around the world. The common response has been that luxury is spending time with family and friends. With Jessica Jackley's recent book launch "Clay. Water. Brick," I had the opportunity to interview her about her entrepreneurial drive, mission and adorable children. She's sincere at heart and yearning to improve the lifestyle of those around her. Clay Water Brick highlights the entrepreneurial path and how “The heart of entrepreneurship is never about what we have. It’s about what we do.”

A day at the spa is already a wonderfully indulgent experience, but spending that time in a room with a great view takes it to another level. Most people keep their eyes firmly shut (or even doze off) while getting a massage or a facial, but when a treatment room offers panoramic views of the great outdoors or a city skyline, it adds another dimension to a typical procedure. These views at these 15 spas are so good that you may be tempted to keep your eyes open the whole time.
