American Airlines launchedĀ a record-breaking 20 new national flights in a 72 hour period from June 2 to June 4. Nine new flights depart from LAX to key destinations such as Seattle, Kansas City, Minneapolis, New Orleans, Portland, Omaha, Durango, Anchorage and Hartford.

Recently the airline launched nonstop service from LAX to Toky’s Haneda Airport (HND) and will debut it’s LAX to Auckland route later in June. In September, new flights will be launched to Hong Kong (HKG) and in December, Beijing (PEK). American Airlines is still the only carrier with true three-class transcontinentalĀ service from LAX to JFK onbaord the Airbus A321.

A Huge Investment to Enhance the Airport Experience.
$3 billion dollars will be invested to provide fully lie-flat seats, upgraded cabin interiors, international Wi-fi, more in-flight entertainment options and charging power for customers in all cabins. Their goal is to improve the airport experience with faster, more reliable kiosks and ticketing areas.
