“Dinner In The Sky is a once in a lifetime opportunity that awaits Angelenos, and is sure to be an unforgettable experience, whether done as a social outing or a corporate incentive,” says Alexander Mayer, President of 2Spicy Entertainment Inc.
Celebrating its 10th anniversary this month, Dinner in the Sky began in May of 2006 in Brussels, Belgium. Recently, they celebrated with 10 tables hoisted up 165 feet in the air simultaneously in Brussels.
A crane is used to hoist food, tables and waitstaff 150 feet in the air while guests have the dining experience of their lives. The Los Angeles event will be hosted by culinary mastermind, Chef Kevin “Cheven” Lee.
No fear necessary: rest assured, every guest wears safety belts and extreme safety measures are taken for each experience. All crew and guests are secured by safety harnesses at all times.
The big question is “Where is the bathroom?” Well, it’s sad to say but there is none. You are strapped to your seat for the whole time. After all, you are only in the air for about an hour. It’s recommended that you use the restroom before you partake in the experience.
