It all starts with the name. When you hear the name ‘Bentley‘ what comes to mind? Perhaps words like effortless. Chic. Sophistication. Gazing at the Bentley is like looking at a work of art, albeit one with a very powerful W12 engine (2 V6’s). The automobile isn’t flashy but instead is elegant and understated. You can tell in an instant that so much work has gone into designing the exterior of the car but once you step inside, you are in for a whole new world.

The Interior
The car is made of perfectly hand stitched leather and remarkable technology. The console is designed to be controlled with a touchscreen with everything at your fingertips. Control the music, phone, navigation system and even the temperature control of your chairs from the central touchscreen. A remote control for the backseat is even available for those who prefer to be chauffeured around.

Quality and Craftsmanship
Did you know that it takes 138 hours to build the Flying Spur from start to finish? It takes 26 hours to cut, trim and stitch the seats and another 25 hours to stitch the entire cabin. 15 hours are spent on the steering wheel alone and you can definitely tell by the smooth finishes and flush seams.
Bentley uses hides that are dyed in over 17 colors with soft natural finishes and its own tanning process. For ultimate leather, order the semi-aniline hide. Known for its natural beauty and softness, it is used for the seats and door trim. The wood is cured for 72 hours and is treated with 5 layers of lacquer for the ultimate finish.
The Lifestyle
We took the Flying Spur for a late night cruise down Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu for a late night dinner at Nobu. Driving the car is like driving in a cloud. There are no bumps, jolts or noises. The cabin is securely sealed so that you can enjoy your own pristine environment.
Nobu is known for its romantic indoor/outdoor flow and beautiful people. There are few restaurants in LA with an ocean view and this is one of them.
The next morning, we took the Flying Spur to the Montage Hotel in Laguna Beach and enjoyed incredible views of the pool. Montage Laguna Beach is set on a coastal bluff overlooking the Pacific ocean in the heart of the vibrant arts community of Laguna Beach. It is a popular destination amongst celebrities and lovers of luxury with 60 suites and 248 guest rooms.
Since Oscars weekend was underway we headed over to the GBK Oscars Gifting Suite, a popular destination amongst celebrities who are looking for the latest products, technology and vacation packages on the market.
We saw Jaime Fox, Casper Smart & Steve Blum at the GBK Lifecell gifting suite. Celebrities were gifted the following:

Later that evening we attended the launch of the Graye Showroom hosted by Angeleno Magazine in Hollywood. Interior designer Cesar Giraldo curated the event with other renown interior designers in Los Angeles.

400 guests attended the event which was a 20,000 square foot loft decorated with modern designer furniture.
Ilza Rosario performed during the event and sang with her powerful voice as she played the piano. Driving the Flying Spur is an incredible experience. It’s the perfect car for everyday driving and for taking out on the night on the town. The seats are ultra-luxurious and comfortable and the drive is powerful yet smooth.
