With 2017 coming to a close, it’s time to take a look at our fashion muses, inspirations, & icons. We’ve compiled the top 5 fashion boss babes, in no particular order, for you to have all your inspiration in one spot.
5. Fashion Diva# Millie Bobby Brown
Who couldn’t love this adorable Stranger Things actress? When she’s not dressed in a pink dress or black blazer and boyfriend jeans, for the show, she’s rocking everything from a wild print to a menswear-inspired suit.
She tips her hat often, on her Instagram (@milliebobbybrown), to Audrey Hepburn as her inspiration, but we also see more than just conservative and classic. As shown her Giamba short suit and Roksanda dress (both pictured below) we see a dash of edge and flare in all her outfits.
4. Fashion Diva# Selena Gomez
Billboard’s Woman of the Year, Selena Gomez, has been doing more than just owning the music industry. Her looks on and off the red carpet are effortless, on-trend, and classic. Her stylist, Christian Classen, might be the one pulling the looks for her but she’s the one making the final decisions. We love everything, including her Oscar de la Renta gown at the 13 Reasons Why premier and even her casual streetwear featuring Madewell sweaters and sleek denim.
3. Fashion Diva# Olivia Palermo
Olivia isn’t just a fashion icon for her outfits… she’s a fashion icon because she lives, breathes, and in some ways, curates our everyday fashion. She spends her time modeling, consulting on creative direction for luxury brands, and traveling the world. Some may say she got her start because of her time on the show The Hills. But her first love was fashion, getting her first job as a PR representative at Diane von Furstenberg followed by a stint in the accessories department at Elle. While her site holds secrets on beauty, fashion, and culture, her ability to follow trends but stay true to her style is what we love most.
2. Fashion Diva# Sofia Boutella
First known for her dance skills, Sofia Boutella stole our fashion-loving hearts this year with her love of sparkles, sheer paneling, and all things couture. Seen below in couture Chanel and frequently in Rodarte — on and off the red carpet — she isn’t afraid to rock a look that most would shy away from. Keeping her silhouettes simple, sleek and form-fitting she stays true to her style but still stuns the crowd.
1. Fashion Diva# Blake Lively
Last, but certainly not least, the lovely – Blake Lively. Since her time on Gossip Girl as Serena Van Der Woodsen, we’ve loved her fashion. She was known for added her own touches to her outfits on the show, unlike most actresses. We shouldn’t be surprised though because the fun, yet effortless looks featured on Serena Van der Woodsen have become the norm for Blake Lively day-to-day.
Blake brought out the big guns this year though, even showing off fun, yet simple outfits when starting out the new year 3 months postpartum. But her best “fashion showcase” yet? Seven outfits in one day this past October to promote her new movie, All I See is You. (See Blake in four of the outfits below!) Any woman who can rock so many outfits, looking this polished, while running to and from promotion events deserves all the fashion awards.
