Riviera 31 offers a unique mixology program designed by Cocktail Chef Matthew Biancaniello which includes a selection of masterfully crafted cocktails reminiscent of the luxurious retreats of the iconic French Riviera. Personalized table-side cocktail preparation adds to the guest experience as well as one-of-a-kind bottle service presentations. Destination Luxury recently hosted a Vampire Surrealist Ball at the venue.
Upon entering the main lobby, you will see Knot No. 11, a monumental 16-foot stainless steel sculpture designed by Damon Hidreth. The sculpture is based on legend; that Alexander the Great found the solution to untying this insoluble knot by slicing it in two with his sword, making him the king of Asia.
After a $40 million renovation, American designers Cheryl Rowley and Yabu Pushelberg gave the hotel a polished look by using ash colored granite tile and shimmering mirror columns. Vibrant flowers adorn the lobby with a perfumed aura once you enter the hotel. Behind the sculpture is a magnificent spiral staircase that sits in front of a 23-foot Darren Waterston oil canvas mural entitled Symphonics (2005).
