This past weekend, while Hollywood was abuzz with Golden Globes celebrations, leading European cosmetics brand Twentyfourseven officially launched their product line in the USA at one of the most star-studded events of the circuit, at Gold Meets Golden on Saturday morning.
The annual event is where Golden Globe nominees meet and mingle with Gold Medal Olympians, and founders Charley Walters and Scott Orlin. Hugh Jackman introduced Keala Settle to sing the theme tune of his latest movie The Greatest Showman, which later picked up the award for Best Song.
During the exclusive event, guests were treated to food by celebrity chef Cat Cora and were able to test out Twentyfourseven’s new cosmetic range, which includes an anti-aging mask, and a lifting serum, thanks to an aesthetician on site helping the stars, athletes and guests look their best for the big weekend.
The products boast instantaneous results, helping fill fine lines and wrinkles significantly after one use, so guests were able to see and feel the difference right there at the event. The mask and serum are two products of a whole skincare regime developed by the German company, and its founder Sascha Zilger, who explained the benefits to event host and Olympic legend Nadia Comaneci.
Nicole Kidman shared conversations with Olympic athletes, while another big hit of the event, the #WOMANUP campaign, attracted stars like Jessica Chastain, Matt Bomer, and Nick Jonas to lend their support and solidarity for female empowerment.
Spearheaded by the female-founded startup Bev Rosé, guests were encouraged to write down different ways in which they Woman Up, before leaving the event with a gift bag full of Twentyfourseven products to try at home.
