Formerly the Lexington Social House, Asa Meza brings the best of Latin and Asian Brunch together.  Chef Joey Lopez has created an innovative menu of comfort food with a communal feel. Though the restaurant is on Hollywood and Vine, it’s attitude is so not “Hollywood.”  It’s warm, inviting and fresh; there is nothing pretentious about it.

The best place to sit is the outdoor terrace. With a view of the peak of the Capital Records,  Patrons sit in the middle of a blossoming garden with ivy on the walls and pops of color from hip furnishings. We were lucky enough to visit the restaurant for brunch and enjoyed bottomless mimosas with some very creative dishes. We would love to come back at night to see the environment. The firepit must create a magical ambiance.

The isn’t your typical LA restaurant…actually it reminds of those creative NYC brunch places. Where else can you feast on sweet potato pancakes, Short Rib Mangu and Yucca fries.
