Andrea Bocelli will bring one of the most successful charity events in the world to Italy, when Celebrity Fight Night leaves its hometown of Phoenix, AZ for the first time ever in September. Celebrity Fight Night is a star-studded annual charity event presented in honor of its yearly special guest, Muhammad Ali, and has been long supported by Andrea Bocelli. The event has raised nearly $95 million for many charities throughout its 20-year history, most significantly the Muhammad Ali Parkinson Center at Barrow Neurological Institute in Phoenix, AZ.
This year, in addition to its Phoenix engagement, the event will travel to Italy at the personal request of the most beloved tenor in the world, Andrea Bocelli. Families of the most exclusive Italian fashion houses in Italy will be joining the effort, including Stefano Ricci, Antico Setificio Fiorentino, Ermanno Scervino, Roberto Cavalli, Salvatore Ferragamo, and Emilio Pucci, as well as the renowned Marques de Frescobaldi winery.
Other celebrities joining the effort are Maestro Zubin Mehta, Swiss TV star Michelle Hunziker and Sophia Loren, plus many more! Loren, the extraordinary actress who is a beloved Italian ambassador throughout the world and committed to social causes, will be awarded and celebrated at an exclusive event in Bocelli’s villa in Forte dei Marmi, a few days before her 80th birthday.
From September 3 to 7, 100 philanthropic donors and special guests will be guided around Tuscany and treated to the very best arts, entertainment and culture in the region.
