There are few resorts that have the energy of the Four Seasons Scottsdale. Located in the high Sonoran Desert, tranquility awaits you as you escape to a place where you are surrounded by nature and your worries melt away. The resort has all the five star amenities you need but it also brings an authentic Western experience from its architecture and decor to its delicious food. Fashion designer Anne Bowen brought us to Arizona for a photo shoot and what better place to stay than the Four Seasons?
The exquisite lobby has vaulted wooden ceilings and rustic hanging chandeliers.
This award-winning destination features 210 guestrooms housed in villas placed throughout the property.
Massive succulents of all kinds are placed throughout the property.
The resort is strategically located next to Pinnacle Peak which is famous for its hiking trail and expansive views.
Western architecture was designed by HKS Architects. The style compliments the high Sonoran Desert, where the hotel is located.
Lizards kept the pond full with water.
We would have loved to have played a game of tennis.
We were happy to be greeted with a bottle of Veuve Clicquot.
We had a nice little patio with a view in our room.
Our bathroom even had an outdoor shower!
Behind the scenes with Anne Bowen, just a few miles away from the resort.
We loved the magnificent rock formations and gorgeous model. The mountains are billions of years old!
We even saw a traditional Native American hoop dance.
After the shoot we went back to the Four Seasons and relaxed by the pool.
The pool was massive.
Later that evening we had dinner at Proof Canteen.
The space was industrial with high ceilings and staggered hanging lights. The restaurant featured home-style comfort with a relaxing neighborhood vibe.
The menus are housed in a license plate.
Chicken & waffles, salad, scallops and a beat salad were the perfect starters.
We feasted on duck fries, proof wings and pork belly…delicious.
