Infiniti has launched the 2019 QX50 with a chic sleek design that seats 5 people with plenty of trunk space to transport luggage, furniture…you name it. The ProPILOT Assist technology is designed to complement your drive so that you can focus your attention on the road. While you keep your hands on the wheel, it will gently steer you to keep you centered on the road, even on curves. Advanced Intelligent Cruise Control adjusts its speeds to keep you a preset distance between the car in front of you. This feature was perfect for driving up the Pacific Coast Highway as we were going to Nobu Malibu. If you accidentally veer off the road, the steering wheel will vibrate to notify you that you are crossing lanes.
The overall drive of the car was smooth with superb handling. Starting at $36,550 MSRP, it comes with a 268 hp 2.0 liter VC-Turbo Engine. For all-wheel drive, the QX50 Luxe starts at $41,200. The rear seats easily recline, slide and fold flat if you need extra room for storage, 65.1 cubicĀ feet of cargo space to be exact. The seats were ultra comfortable with lumbar support and quilted leather. The design is tailored with lusciousĀ curves and lines throughout the interior.
The car is ideal for new families that need the extra cargo space and don’t want to commit to a large SUV. Another target demographic is empty nesters that are downsizing. They’ve already had the large Escalades and Suburbans. It’s a mid-sized luxury crossover that’s in a class of its own.
